Reach valuable prospects and current customers through the American Express® Cardmember Information Page ("CIP"). CIP is a marketing opportunity that lets you channel exclusive promotional offers to American Express Cardmembers either nationally, regionally or by Card product. It is a cost-effective way of delivering high-value, high-spending customers to your business.

 

The page is part of an innovative billing system which allows targeted communications to Cardmembers. It is sent to Cardmembers every month as part of their billing statement and contains details of exclusive offers. Offers may also appear on the American Express Web Site.

 

AN OPPORTUNITY TO INCREASE SALES

A CIP message is a highly effective way of generating increased sales, both by attracting new customers and by keeping your existing customers loyal. It is also extremely easy to implement, because it allows new offers to be featured on a monthly basis without the expense and logistics of developing new marketing materials. Offers are provided by a number of industries, such as retail, restaurant and hotel.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Before completing the application form, please ensure that your offer meets the following conditions: 

  • Must be exclusive to American Express Cardmembers and better than any other promotion(s) you may be running at the same time
  • Should represent a benefit or saving of at least 15-20%
  • Should appeal to the majority of Cardmembers
  • Should be valid for at least two months
  • Cannot be repeated within three months

IS YOUR OFFER COMPELLING?

Is your offer worth the Cardmember picking up the phone? Can they see a tangible benefit? It does not have to be money off. It could simply be an exclusive invitation to a special preview, or an opportunity that is not available to non-Cardmembers. Try to make your offer new and exciting. A little imagination can make all the difference.

 

IS YOUR OFFER STRAIGHTFORWARD?

The simpler the better, as far as offers are concerned. If you have to add complicated terms and conditions, you are more likely to put people off. It will also make it harder for our copywriters to express the offer clearly. It is also important to include an offer's validity, so that Cardmembers are motivated to act immediately.

 

IS YOUR OFFER EASY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF?

Make it clear what you want Cardmembers to do - and by when. If your offer is dependent on a reservation, only give one number to call, preferably freephone. Make sure your staff are briefed to expect the calls and that the offer is available at all outlets (or specify if restricted to certain locations).

 

HOW TO MAKE AN OFFER

  • Complete all sections of the application form, giving full details of your offer. The more information you provide, the more likely it is to appear and the better targeted it will be.
  • Submit the form online at least six weeks before you want the message to appear.
  • Bank Danamon reserves the right to approve the offer and the message text. Once accepted, you will be sent the offer text for checking and approval by a specified deadline.
  • Ensure all relevant staff are aware of the offer details.
  • If your offer cannot be accommodated, Bank Danamon will contact you.
  • It is a condition of the message appearing that you keep track of the number of responses to the offer and at the end of the validity period send the final number to Bank Danamon representative.

 

There is limited space available, so priority is given to the best offers for our Cardmembers and some offers may not be accepted.
